In 2020, one of India's largest engineering companies (revenue - 800M USD) specializing in farming and construction equipment was entering into a joint venture with a Japan based multi-national in a similar business (revenue - 14B USD). A green field project, this was a unique effort where the entire business requirements were mapped to the organization blueprint. The configuration / customization done as per the business requirements. Entailing detailed planning, the implementation was done via a series of prototypes and phased runs across 13 modules till the mass production in a record 8 months.

Given that Material Requirements Planning is critical for production, FocusR developed a Forecast Simulator and dashboards to monitor and track for various parameters. Notable among them were for Inventory Maintenance amongst the various other modules implemented. This was integrated with the ERP system. FocusR continues to provide the annual maintenance support and partner with them on various upgrades, migrations, and customizations.

Benefits : The objective to have the implementation on schedule and on budget aligning with stringent requirements from the parent company was achieved.

FocusR has been providing Oracle Fusion support for a Singapore based Logistics organization. The organization is into Freight forwarding, Global freight management, Transportation management, Warehouse and Inventory Management solutions and currently have a global presence. FocusR has been providing seamless support since 2018 and in 2020 rolled out to two entities in KSA (Saudi Arabia) and an entity in USA. In line with its growth plans, the organization was looking at consolidating the Profit & Loss across 19 entities. The organization came up with further requirements for reports like Consolidated Profit & Loss statement, P & L statement by entity, Consolidated Balance Sheet and by Entity, Sub-ledger Vs General Ledger.

FocusR was able to fulfill the requirements and the objective of the roll out was achieved. Added, processes outside of the system such as Invoicing (Customer and Supplier) into Oracle Fusion were brought into the system through integrations. Inter-company flows were also implemented. Overall, this resulted in optimized operations and negated effort to reconcile between systems outside of ERP.

FocusR has deep expertise and knowledge of the paper industry. With this experience we were able to implement Oracle for India's largest manufacturer of writing and printing (W&P) paper with six manufacturing units and a revenue of USD 70 Million. 13 modules such Supply chain, manufacturing were implemented. A key highlight was the implementation of the dealer portal, a product of FocusR. The organization had to manage around 250+ main dealers. Each dealer manages~15 customers. Implemented the dealer portal that would help log, monitor, and transact with dealers via a simple self-service portal. Dashboards, reports per customer other customizations for analysis and forecasts were implemented. Added, FocusR implemented and supported roll out of OPM to various plants.

The organization benefited not only from the successful on time implementation of Oracle, but considerable savings also resulted from implementing the dealer portal. Separate hardware and licenses needed for a similar service in the standard product was eliminated. License costs of 15-20% and AMC costs of 22% were saved Only a fraction of what would have been invested i store, i-receivable was required to be spent.

A leading Textile Machinery Manufacturer in India (USD 300 M ~ in revenue) and one among the three in the world to produce the entire range of Spinning Machinery was expanding operations. FocusR is already supporting the Oracle application since 2016 and the organization was looking to upgrade to 12.2.11. With the experience in such upgrade, FocusR was able to quickly scope customizations and standard workflows with the business. SCM (Inv, PO, OM), Financial (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, eBusiness Tax), Manufacturing and planning, Service modules, Core HR, SSHR and Payroll were in scope. This meant a considerably large landscape and required diligent planning.
